The One Tough Job campaign and website are brought to you by the Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund. Since 1988, the Children’s Trust Fund has served the citizens of Massachusetts by working to protect children, support parents and strengthen families. We know all parents want the best for their children and we believe that all parents need and deserve support, skills and information to be the best parents they can be. Through this website, all parents can have access online to information shared through CTF-funded programs in communities throughout the state. One Tough Job aims to support parents and help them be the best parents they can be.

Who is the Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund?
The Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund leads statewide efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect by supporting parents and strengthening families. As an umbrella organization, we fund, evaluate, and promote the work of over 100 agencies that serve parents and children. Supported by state, federal and private funding, we invest in Massachusetts’ most precious resource - children and their families.
The Children’s Trust Fund works in partnership with parents, communities, human service agencies, the state and federal governments, and private funders and supporters to invest in Massachusetts' most precious resource - children and their families. We pool all available funding centrally and then allocate it to achieve the maximum benefit for the good of the entire Commonwealth.
The Children’s Trust Fund researches the best strategies to strengthen families and funds community organizations that can provide the most effective family support programs. Service providers are selected for their ability to deliver outstanding services and to reflect the diversity of local parents. We help community organizations build their capacity to strengthen families by providing technical assistance, training, evaluation tools, and other resources.
The Children’s Trust Fund works with the media to raise public awareness about the availability and importance of family support programs. The programs we fund have been proven effective in helping communities support families and protect children from abuse. Our funded initiatives encompass research, training, evaluation, public policy and public awareness.
